The RaceMenu was redesigned with the intention of using SKSE to allow for more in-depth customization of your character. This is an SKSE plugin that disables caching of FaceGen parts that can crash your game if you have many hair/eye/brow mods installed. If you experience crashing while opening the menu please consider acquiring the optional download DisableFaceGenCache (integrated as of version 2.7+, no longer necessary). If youre using mod organizer, you can always create a new mod by right clicking the overwrite folder and selecting create a new mod.Complete overhaul to the character creation menu including new customization features such as multiple RGBA warpaints, body paints, hand paint, and foot paints. You can drop them in Racemenu, but make sure that complete file tree is there. They need to be moved to a folder with the correct file path. One method you could use is go to the folder where the your games mods are stored, and then search the folder for presets or chargen in the search bar in the upper right corner of the folder window. They could be saved to Racemenu, or to SKSE, or to some weird folder. That file tree is where presets go, but its not certain which mod theyre saved to. What information do you need in order to find the problem Thanks. I dont know what happened as my characters I have saved previously are still in the folder. I do remember I always had issues loading up my own presets with ECE in any case, so you would probably be better off installing RaceMenu ones instead. Its been a long time since I used ECE, but its mod description should tell you how to select the presets, if they did not just change vanilla presets. The face mods though Ive tried them both in data and in skse and they either dont show up in the game or they show up but wont load and it says there is an error. ![]() Ive got the body slider working because I was using it through bodyslider but my pc was being stupid and saving things in the wrong place. It also requires ECE, not RaceMenu as per the mod description. It even has them in the correct directory in the archive, so it can simply be installed into Data.Īgain, it does not go into SKSE, as its a plugin, not a RaceMenu preset.
